                          Shutting down a computer

To Shut down a computer,you need to follow these steps:
                

Close on the opened programs and your             work.

• Click on the Start button then a start menu appears.
• Move the mouse pointer to the Shut down or T
• urn Off button and click on it. Then Turn Off Computer dialog box appears with three options. They are: 

1. Stand By: When the work is not finished                          and you do not finished and you                      do not want to shut down the                            computer,  the Stand By option                        is selected.
2. Turn Off: When you need to shut down and                    the Turn Off option is selected .
3. Restart:    When the computer needs to be                      shut down and then starts to be                        shut down and then  starts it                            again immediately Restart option                    is selected.

• After selecting the option Shut down to turn off your computer wait for the screen to turn blank.
• Switch Off the power button on the monitor.  
• Finally, Switch Off the main power supply button.
